10x10’s MISSION

To empower the next generation of giving. 

10x10 London was launched in May 2017 and our first 3 events  engaged over 450 young professionals, supported 9 grassroots charities, raised just under £100,000 and set a global fundraising record. The events have supported grassroots UK charities providing genuinely innovative solutions to social problems in the UK including combating drug and alcohol addiction, prevention of suicide in young men and professional coaching in prisons to reduce re-offending.  Nick Jenkins, founder of Moonpig and a 'Dragon for Good' at our May 2017 event commented: "This type of fundraising model for young professionals is exactly what’s needed in the charity sector at the moment."


1. Ten event committee members organise a charity event and engage sponsors to provide an exciting venue and lots of delicious food and drink.

2. Each committee member invites at least ten of their friends to come to the event (10x10... get it?)

3. Attendees donate £60 or more to attend, and this creates a pool of at least £6,000 in donations.

4. Upon arrival at the event each attendee is given their 'Charity Pledges' equal to the value of their donation.

5. Three CHARITIES pitch their cause to the audience and describe their model and impact.

6. Three DRAGONS quiz the charities in front of the audience

7. Each audience member then gets to put their Charity Pledges towards the charity (or charities) of their choice.

10x10 events in the UK are powered by Raise Your Hands, as the organisations share an aim: inspiring the next generation of donors to give effectively.

 is a life changing community cookery school. We help people across London to grow, cook and eat more plants – to improve not only their own health, but that of the planets too. Our programme of food growing and cookery courses, classes and events bring people together to give them the skills and inspiration to improve their health and wellbeing, adopt more sustainable food habits and make meaningful connections with their local community.


A small charity with a huge heart, the Food Chain has been providing vital food and nutrition support services for the most vulnerable and marginalised people living with HIV in London, since Christmas day 1988.  At the time of referral to us, the people we work with are in crisis, often with little or no food at home, low or no income, and grappling with a complex range of health and social care issues arising from their HIV status. A small staff team of 6 posts supports 200+ active volunteers to deliver life-changing services that make a real and lasting difference.



Ben Warner - Co-Founder Benugo
Ben Warner started his career as a chef at Raymond Blanc’s Maison Blanc in 1982. After working across a broad range of catering projects including cooking on private yachts in the south of France and being an original franchisee of Pret a Manger in the late 90’s, Ben went on to found Benugo with his brother Hugo in 1998. Inspired by visits to New York delis, Ben opened his first shop in Clerkenwell and envisioned his customers enjoying simple yet flavourful food and fantastic coffee in a warm, relaxed environment. Led by Ben’s buoyant energy and vision, Benugo now boasts over one hundred sites including high street stores and cafes and restaurants within some of the world’s largest and most respected museums, public spaces and historic buildings. Benugo and Ben himself have garnered numerous awards for contribution to the food industry, including a Catey Award,  Tatler’s Restauranteur of the Year Award, two London Lifestyle Awards for Best Coffee Shop and last year achieving the ultimate accolade of winning the Outstanding Contribution to London Lifestyle Award. 

Renée Eliot - Founder Planet Organic
American-born Renée Elliott is an organic pioneer and passionate entrepreneur.  In 1995, she founded Planet Organic, the UK’s first organic supermarket. She challenged conventional retailing and proved that values-led, commercially-driven business is good business.  Today, Planet trades out of seven London locations. A health and well-being expert, Renée recently published her third book, ‘What to Eat and How to Eat it’.  She works part-time at Planet Organic, lectures to budding entrepreneurs, teaches healthy baking and is a full-on mother to her three children.  In May 2017, Renée and her partner, Sam Wigan, launched Beluga Bean, an in-person and on-line business skills and life skills academy

Hamish Shephard - Co-Founder Hello Fresh USA
Having started an investment banking career the very day Lehman Brothers went bust, Hamish thankfully escaped to begin an entrepreneurial journey ever since. This journey ranges from setting up Cambodia’s first ever e-commerce company to being in the founding team of South East Asia’s largest e-commerce company (which later sold to Alibaba), to launching popchips in the UK and then co-founding HelloFresh in the USA. He is now focused on the UK wedding industry, in which he launched the highly regarded venue Hedsor House with his brothers, and last year launched Bridebook, a wedding planning app, on which over a third of UK weddings are now planned. Prior to his ill-fated foray into investment banking, Hamish was a teacher for the UN in Addis Ababa and previously, in India. Hamish is always looking to help and hire smart enthusiastic people so do reach out on Linkedin.


Your Pledges will be available for collection at the venue on the night of the event. For a £60 pledge, you'll receive two £30 charity vouchers which you can allocate across the charities however you please. 

Options for £90 and £120 Pledges are also available which will give you additional vouchers as well as free entry into the Raffle that will be drawn on the evening.

Receipts will be issued for the full amount of the Pledge price following the event.
