What we've been up to this month:

Grief Encounter recently held a Residential Weekend for bereaved families to come together and share their experiences. The weekend was filled with therapeutic group work, reflective time and fun activities for the children to enjoy.

Grief Encounter Patron Jeff Brazier and Jessica Cunningham appeared on ITV Loose Women speaking about how to help young children understand bereavement. Their advice was to be honest with your children and ensure you’ve got support for yourself in the process.

“The first day I was approached by Grief Encounter I was totally broken, (but) since then Grief Encounter have been like our second family.” See more about what we do here

Together with your help Grief Encounter raised an incredible £92,754 for our Grenfell Appeal, supporting the children directly affected by the tragedy.

Their focus continues to be working closely with the families, providing regular counselling to those in need. Grief Encounter will also be delivering Remembrance Workshops and a therapeutic Winter Camp over the festive break. Thank you for helping Grief Encounter support these children and allowing the emotional healing to begin.
