What we've been up to this month:

Summer is a quieter time for Kidscape, but there is still plenty going on. Zoe Williams has joined as Communications Manager. If you need anything from Zoe, drop her a line: zoe@kidscape.org.uk

We’re really excited to be running a BBC Radio 4 Appeal which fist aired on 6th August, presented by author and comedian David Walliams. It highlights the dangers posed to children online--and how Kidscape is helping parents, grandparents and carers to support their children.

It’s been a really exciting journey for us since finding out we had been offered a slot back in December. We couldn't wait to hear the finished product! And here it is - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08zzvzd

The appeal will air on Radio 4 on Sunday 6 August at 0755 with a repeat at 2126, and again on Thursday 10 August at 1527. We’d love it if you tuned in.

We’ve mentioned our upcoming animated series, “Feeling Happy, Feeling Safe” in previous updates. It is a guide for pre-school children about keeping safe. We’re delighted to announce that we will be releasing the series, one episode a day, at the end of August. It will be released through our YouTube channel, so subscribe to hear when it’s live and watch with preschool-age children.
