What we've been up to this month:

Today we are launching our Grenfell Appeal, following the success of our Summer Community Project.

Our two week project, in partnership with the Good Grief Trust and Jake Walker Music, took place at The Playground Theatre, was run by our therapists qualified in grief and trauma. These services supported approximately 220 children and families who had been directly affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.

Here is one mother’s feedback when asked how her son felt after the sessions: “Focused, wanting to return and excited about returning (to) the next session. He really enjoyed it and allowed him to come out of his shell”

We now need to raise £100,000 by the end of October to ensure we can continue helping all the families who require our essential trauma support. If you are able to donate money to this vital work, please visit our JustGiving page to give whatever you can.

Grenfell Tower Benefit Concert

We are delighted and humbled to be one of the two nominated charities for the upcoming Grenfell Tower Benefit Concert, alongside the Rugby Portobello Trust.

Cadogan Hall together with Soprano Nazan Fikret present this one-off gala of opera, song and choral music on Sunday 17th September. Everyone involved has given their services for free to ensure all the funds raised will reach those that are most in need. Tickets start at £20, click here to buy yours.

New Chair of Trustees

We are pleased to announce Harold Gittelmon as our new Chair of Trustees. Commenting on his appointment, Harold said:

“I have long been a supporter of the charity and seen how far the charity has come in very short period of time. I look forward to helping take the organisation on to the next level of its development.”

Meet our fundraisers!

It is wonderful when people are able to take on sporting challenges to raise money and awareness for us. These include marathons, half marathons, tough mudders, dragon boat races, treks across the Great Wall of China and so on. Learn more about our fundraisers every Tuesday on our Facebook page
