What we've been up to this month:

Last month, we were delighted to receive a visit from FIFA as part of support we receive from their charitable initiative Football For Hope. Crew from FIFA spent an afternoon at Sport 4 Life filming and speaking to staff and volunteers before visiting a football session that engages newly arrived asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants to help them improve their life skills and integrate into society.

The crew spent time speaking with twin brothers Mohammed Hassan and Hussain (pictured) about their journey to the UK, what football and Sport 4 Life means to them, and their aspirations for the future.

Hussain said “When I’m at Sport 4 Life and playing football, I forget about all the problems in my life and just focus in on the moment. I’ve made new friends here and Sport 4 Life have helped me a lot to settle into Birmingham.”
