Volunteers

At our camps we bring together brothers and sisters who live all over the UK, to share a weeks holiday full of adventure TOGETHER!, the volunteers with be allocated a siblings group to mentor for the entire week, they will become their sibling family, and work with two other groups across the week, eat together do all activities together etc.. We do everything possible, from caving to orienteering, kayaking, horseriding etc, at amazing location and centres.

All costa are supported by the charity, including travel, plus we will try to assist those on very low incomes with a small honorary payment to cover expenses should they require assistance. They will be supported and supervised each day, and short breaks will be built into the week long programme.

The aim of the Camps are to help the siblings begin the process of getting to have fun together, enjoy their precious time together, to move beyond arguments and learn to get along together in a positive healthy way. Siblings squabble at the best of times, and we support them to work through any issues as they arise.. We have parties, have fun, enjoy our weeks at camp!. the food is usually great, but the Art, Poetry, and all activities and instructors are brilliant. We create phot albums with the young people at camps to ensure they can take home with them albums of photo's they can cherish and look back on, replacing old negative memories with positive new ones!.
